  • Tourist Guide
  • Design Thinking Museum, located in Gujeong-myeon, Gangneung-si, welcomes visitors by dividing the exhibition spaces into a Literature Hall, an Education Hall, and an Art Museum. The Literature Hall exhibits works by Sister Hae-in Lee, Venerable Beopjeong, and poet Jeong Hui-seong. The Art Museum consists of the special exhibition "The Weight of Language" by calligrapher Yeolam Song Jeong-hui, an international design exhibition sponsored by UNICEF, and a wedding energy exhibition room featuring 19th-century French illustrations. The Education Hall prepares various educational programs, such as operating 14 experience programs for local youth.
  • Tourist Tips
  • Wedding Energy Exhibition: A wedding dress prepared by the owner of Nina Ricci House for his daughter's wedding and wedding illustrations recording 19th-century French wedding culture. UNICEF Exhibition: Works by three designers selected by UNICEF. A special exhibition where a portion of the admission fee is used to deliver vaccines and medical relief supplies to children sponsored by UNICEF. Scales of the World – Special Exhibition: Precious scales that European imperial families and aristocrats exhibited as family symbols; scales are widely known to symbolize justice and equality. Another special symbol of scales is that they are objects that built "wealth," and European aristocrats produced scales to show the uniqueness of their families. You can see double-arm scales used in 18th-century Europe, as well as scales from the United States and Japan, and enjoy famous paintings related to scales. Design Thinking Museum conducts various experiential education programs for preschoolers, elementary school students, middle school students, high school students, adults, couples, and families at a 10,000-pyeong outdoor experiential learning site and a 110-pyeong indoor experiential education hall.
