Notably, the beach operates under the principle of “no overcharging,” which has attracted significant attention from media outlets and visitors alike. Since 2004, the Sungeut Beach Operation Committee has been running the “Gyeongpo Sungeut Marine Leisure Town” during the summer season, providing visitors with a variety of attractions and hands-on experiences. Although the beach is small in size, it is equipped with a convenience store and public restrooms, and parasol rentals are available for a relaxing beach experience. Due to its proximity to Gyeongpo Beach, visitors can enjoy a peaceful time at Sungeut Beach and then head to the livelier Gyeongpo Beach. A visit to nearby Gyeongpo Lake is also highly recommended.
